Black-and-White Lifestyle Family Session

We welcomed Katie and her beautiful family into our studio in the spring of 2023. Instead of a traditional newborn session for Katie’s daughter, she opted for a fun family photo shoot when she was two months old. A baby at two months old is much more alert and awake and this is precisely what Katie envisioned for her special day. During the session, you will find predominantly lifestyle photography, sibling pictures, and newborn portraits.

First, we started with the newborn portraits where we captured her big blue eyes. Clearly, Katie did a great job with choosing dark clothing to make her daughter’s eyes pop. Then, we transitioned to our white room with the bedroom set for casual and fun family photos. This set is always so popular with toddlers because they get to hop away. As you can see, this set is perfect for lifestyle photos because it encourages happy play for the whole family.

Finally, we concluded the session against our light and bright backdrop. Although this is a family session we were sure to take several couple portraits as well. This black-and-white lifestyle family session was truly a treat to be a part of. We are always so happy to provide our clients with the images they envision that will last a lifetime.
