South Jersey Santa Sessions | Private and Mini Sessions with Santa 2016 | NJ Family Photos | NJ Santa Photos

Starting back in July, I had several requests for clients wanting a photo shoot with Santa. They were tired of going to the mall, waiting in line, having a Santa who didn't really love what he did, screaming kids, paying ridiculously high prices for a Santa who didn't smile. Now that my son was at the age that we would want to see Santa, I also dreaded having to go to the mall. During the Fourth of July parade in Riverton, I met Santa!!! He was being driven in a red car just like a sleigh. I gave him my card and a few months later we planned.

This year, I planned two sessions. Session in Novemeber were 30 minutes long and more private. The children also read "The Night Before Christmas" with Santa. What an experience!!!

Then in December, with so many people still interested, I planned for Santa Mini's. 15 minute sessions with Santa. He was soo much fun! Even the children that weren't so sure eventually warmed up to him.

Here are some highlights from our Santa Sessions. We will definitely be doing them next year so if you are interested in getting on a list to book before the big announcement, send us an email!!!

Holiday Mini's benefiting the NICU at Virtua | Voorhees and Mount Holly NJ

Holiday Mini's benefiting the NICU at Virtua | Voorhees and Mount Holly NJ

Originally I decided that I wanted to stop working after December 4th so I could spend time with my family. Having so much time off made me think about doing something nice for my community and to benefit someone. Working with mom's and babies is my favorite part of my job so what better idea then to support a cause that deals with moms and babies?

I'll never forget. I received a phone call from Chrissy. Yes, Chrissy, I am going to talk about you  :) She had a little girl name Holly in the NICU at Virtua. She received my information from a volunteer organization call Preemie Prints. Since I had never received calls or requests from this organization, I said that I would do a session for free for her and her family myself.

Meeting Chrissy and her husband were (and still are) so sweet and loving. I just saw a sparkle in Chrissy's eyes looking at her little girl. It touched my heart. I'll never forget that session!

This gave me the idea to donate to Virtua's NICU. Not only is the hospital great but, you can't forget about the nurses. They are so sweet and helpful! Everytime I go to photograph a fresh 48 or volunteer with NILMDTS, they are so warm and compassionate.

What better way then to use my talent of photographing amazing people and donate the proceeds to the NICU. Making life more comfortable for families is a great way to support during this tough time.

Session fee is $99 and includes a 15 minute session with Milk & Cookies, 1 digital image and 1 digital card. Additional prints, products and digital images are available.

If you would like to sponsor the event, please send me an email. There will be 2 levels of sponsoring.

New Jersey and Philly Newborn Photography | What to expect during your newborn session

What to expect during your newborn session.

Newborn photography is not easy. Believe me, before I did several hours of training, learning and mentoring, I was absolutely horrible. I was not confident in myself and my nervousness rubbed off onto the babies. Since having my own son, I have learned that babies aren't scary. They just want to be swaddled, warm, cuddled and asleep!

The studio is kept at a balmy 80-85 degrees Fahrenheit. Babies love to be warm and even if you keep your air conditioning on in your home, I'm sure you bundle your little one up so they do not get cold. Since we will be wrapping the baby and also doing nakey poses, we like to keep the babies warm so they stay asleep and comfortable.

Feel free to bring drinks, snacks and even lunch! Sessions take up to 3 hours. This will give your baby plenty of time to nurse, cuddle, change diapers, get those burps out and snuggle with Momma if needed.

Siblings and other family members are more than welcome to come to a session. If we are doing family portraits, I suggest neutral colors to compliment a natural look. Dark, bright or neon colors are not cute. No stripes or too tight clothing that you can't breath and feel uncomfortable.

After family portraits are done, I encourage dad or a family member to take them out for some fun at a local park or out to breakfast at the Diner down the street. I want to have my undivided attention on your new baby and not have any distractions.

Since Mom will be staying with me and the baby, we will do Mom and baby portraits at this time.

Then we will move onto baby portraits. A few weeks before your due date, we will go over color schemes, themes, ideas and poses. Please make sure to let me know ahead of time if you are bringing a special outfit or prop so that I can be prepared.

Once we are finished with your baby's portraits we will sit down and pick a date for you to come back to see your images. I will have all the products that I offer out so that you can touch and feel them.

Newborn sessions take about 3-4 weeks to be completely edited.

Please feel free to ask any questions!

I look forward to your session!
