Football First Birthday Session

We have had the pleasure of photographing Sam and her wonderful family for multiple occasions and milestones. We have photographed their daughter Lily since she was a newborn over three years ago. You can see her milestone session here where you can see her painting on canvas with her little brother. We also have a blog for her second birthday taken outdoors just outside our studio that you can read here. Sam and her husband wanted classic milestone portraits, a cake smash, and incorporate their favorite NFL team, The Philadelphia Eagles.

The Session

First, we began in our light and bright set with the whole family was having fun and enjoying each other’s company while we took lifestyle portraits of them. Of course, we were happy to have Laney, their sweet fur baby for full family photos. Certainly, their baby boy was the star of the show, but we had to take sibling portraits as well. Lily, his big sister, was so happy and loved interacting with her little brother throughout the session. The outfits Sam chose for his portraits were so cute, he looked adorable in his light blue overalls.

Then, we transitioned to our cake smash set and did a quick outfit change for his football-themed portraits. Surely, we had to take photos of him and his Philadelphia Eagles jersey and denim jeans with his custom set. Shortly after a quick outfit change, we brought his mini chocolate cake for the family favorite, cake smash. He had a great time eating the icing off his cake and we captured his cute smile during all the fun. Finally, we concluded the session with him in an outfit that Sam brought for this occasion, a custom outfit with ‘Mr One-derful’ printed on his bottoms.
